Proud to announce our Black Owl Biochar has been selected to be incorporated into one of the top farm-to-table restaurant's garden in the United States -- Woodinville, WA's Herb Farm.
The Herb Farm offers 9-course meals and its head gardener Bill Vingelen, University of Oregon Environmental Science Alum, uses the top organic and eco-friendly practices in the garden, and even has a bio-diesel tractor, which occasionally emits the fragrance of french fries! The Herb Farm grows unique, organic Pacific Northwest veggies and herbs year round.
We invite you to dine there on a special occasion. Their dinners are theme-based, and they offer a large selection of fine wines from the Pacific Northwest.

The company's President & CEO, Renel Anderson spoke at the conference about registering biochar products and the critical involvement of product testing and various governing agencies governing the label parameters involved for each state.
She also finished the conference with an "ignite talk" about her peony experiment.
Top international soil and chemical scientists attended and spoke, as well as biochar manufacturers, environmental engineers, organic farmers, politicians, students and other enthusiasts about international successes using biochar in rural and urban agriculture.
We look forward to 2014's symposium!
